As one of the perks of being a Girl Scout Leader I get to go camping with some of my favorite people, my Girl Scout troop 836. Camp Alice Pittenger is located on the shores of Payette Lake near McCall, Idaho. At this camp girls sleep in tents or cabins, on cots, eat in the dining hall, use "biffies" and take hot showers in the "sky lighted" shower house. We did arts and crafts where we created popsicle frames, lanyards and tie-dye headbands. Swimming, kayaking, hiking and canoeing are all an integrated part of Camp Alice Pittenger programs.
